Come Together is my pandemic baby. When my work slowed to a trickle in spring 2020, I finally had the time to sit down and write a design book proposal. My interest in multigenerational living and architecture was fueled by a feature I wrote about multigenerational homes for The New York Times.

Based on my proposal, Come Together, The Architecture of Multigenerational Living was co-edited together with leading international design book publisher gestalten. I helped in the selection of projects by contributing 80 percent of the research. I wrote the majority of the text, including 5 features, 5 case studies and the introduction, all which take a deep dive into the topic from various perspectives. In my humble opinion, the book is as beautiful as it is an important reflection of our times.
